Have you ever been scrolling on social media and seen a product or tool that really catches your eye?

You really want to know what it is and want more information about it, so you keep watching. As you keep watching the video, you're hooked.
As the video comes to an end, they've left you with just enough information to get you interested, but not enough to know where to get it, what it's called, etc.
Now you start going through the comments, scrolling to see if anyone mentioned what the product was, or you leave a comment asking what it is (now you've officially become a lead for them and can probably expect a direct message (DM)).
As this is all happening, the video is playing on repeat behind the scenes, which, with enough people doing this, boosts the video in the algorithm, allowing it to reach more people and continue the cycle of getting people curious, commenting, and DMing them to either close them there or schedule a phone call to close the sale.
Has curiosity based marketing ever happened to you? What product or tool had you hooked like this? Share your experience in the comments!
