"SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization, which, in simple terms, refers to how likely your website is to appear when someone searches for something related to what you do.
For example, let's say you’re in the roofing business, and someone searches for 'roofing companies near me.'
They’ll see a list of local roofing companies. However, those companies don’t just appear in random order—there’s a strategy behind how they rank on the results page.
This is where SEO comes in. The better your website is optimized, the higher it will appear, meaning the potential customer won’t have to scroll far to find your name or website.
Let’s be honest—when you search for a product or service, you’re probably not scrolling through multiple pages. You’re most likely choosing from the top 3 to 5 websites or companies that pop up, without even considering the other 30 businesses offering the same service.
That’s why SEO is so important. It’s the difference between getting noticed and getting lots of clients, or barely getting any business from Google."
